Summer Baseball Is Finally Here!

Summer baseball is finally here! The moment we have all been waiting for as a program for the last 9 + months when we had our August tryouts. It has been absolutely fantastic having the chance to watch these young men compete this Spring. Now in less than 2 weeks, it is our turn to finally watch firsthand the success these guys have had this Spring translate into the Summer season.

 

 As each year moves forward as a program, we want to continue to find new ways to highlight our players participating with us. So this year, we are going to be doing “team previews” on all our “Midsouth” teams this summer season. This year we are grateful to have over 100 players in our Midsouth group playing with us from our 2025 grads (8th graders) all the way to our 2021 grads (12th graders) this season.

 

“We are just super pumped to be a part of the process with these young men and their families,” said Coach Cohick, the High School Director for the Midsouth region. “People are seeing the things we are doing, and realizing that it’s bigger than guys just playing travel baseball. It’s about being a part of the process from the events you play in, the recruiting side, what camps/showcases to go to. It’s just the overall experience rather than just some come and play a few games with a huge program name across your chest,” said Cohick. 

 

 As the program continues to grow, it’s always the players and parents who are willing to give the Midsouth group a chance that makes this organization great. We have had over 40 commits that have participated within our program over the last two summer seasons with more to follow. This is just the beginning for us as a program heading into the 3rd summer season.

 

 Team previews will begin tonight starting with the young bucks in our 2025 class as we will drop a new preview each day throughout the rest of the week!
